1964-2014
With great sadness, the family of Alastair Ross announces his peaceful passing at the North Shore Hospice last Sunday.
He leaves behind his wife Chizuka, children Brandon and Marina, mother Winifred, brother Murray and sister Kathleen and her children Katrina and Keaton, as well as many other loving relatives and friends.
Al grew up in North Vancouver and attended Carson Graham High School and UBC. He was an avid hockey, soccer, rugby and tennis player and was a strong supporter of his children's sports and activities. Al loved hiking, cheering for his favorite sports teams and biking. He enjoyed travelling and camping holidays with his family. After teaching in Japan for several years, Al had a long career working in financial services with several institutions in the lower mainland.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday, February 9 at 3:00pm at Boal Chapel, 1505 Lillooet Rd, North Vancouver.
