In memory of Ernie Kingsley

   KINGSLEY, Ernest "Ernie" James
   December 20, 1919 - October 30, 2014

Ernie, just shy of celebrating his 95th birthday,    passed away peacefully at home.
A longtime resident of West Vancouver, he immigrated  with his wife (May) and young daughter (Sandy) in  1954. Prior to his arrival in Canada, Ernie served with  the British Army in England, North Africa and Germany

After establishing himself in Vancouver, he had a successful career in the lighting business. Upon retirement, he pursued his many interests which included travelling extensively, boating as a member of RVYC, his ongoing education with Capilano University (Elder College) and, most importantly, spending time with his family and friends.

Predeceased by his wife May (2008), Ernie will be sadly missed and remembered by his daughter Sandy (Doug Cullen), grandchildren: Tina (Brent Bradshaw), Sarah (Chris Bower) and Jamie, as well as great-grandchildren Kaden, Keira, Kate, Kingsley and Simone.

A heartfelt thank you to Dina, Dr. Kathleen Bell-Irving and Dr. Paul Sugar.
No service by request.
If desired, a donation to the Paul Sugar Palliative Support Foundation (
