In memory of IVOR DAVIES
Ivor William Davies
June 25, 1927 - February 03, 2021
With dogged determination he fought the fading light until his last twelve hours; and then, in Ivor's vernacular, snuffed it.
Ivor was an accomplished athlete, revered coach, skilled carpenter, beloved high school teacher, WWII veteran, and tireless volunteer.
He leaves behind his large loving family and hundreds of friends, who will all remember this unfiltered, intelligent, hilarious, cantankerous, hard working, driven and determined man.
In his memory, please go for a run, raise a glass, hammer a nail, swing a golf club, play some darts, buy a poppy, help a neighbour, or embellish a story - all while invoking his most colourful language.
Donations to the Paul Sugar Palliative Support Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
