July 29, 1952 - August 3, 2018
We have lost our beloved Iris who demonstrated such wisdom and strength throughout her life and her illness.
Iris is survived by her loving husband Robert, son Chris, daughter Alison (Jeff), sisters Barb and Lexie (Bob), brother Gordon (Bonnie), brother-in-law John (Rose Marie) and many loving nieces and nephews.
Iris lived a full life and deeply touched the lives of everyone. She was cherished by all who knew her. She was a light that never dimmed. Revered by her colleagues and many friends, quick witted, generous of heart and spirit with a legendary laugh, Iris' loss will be grieved long and hard by everyone who had the privilege to know and love her.
A memorial service will be held at Hollyburn Funeral Home, 1807 Marine Dr, West Vancouver, BC V7V 1J7 on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The North Shore Hospice Society, the Paul Sugar Palliative Support Foundation or your favourite charity.
