In memory of ...
BARTON, Jessica Lynn (Nee Crawshaw)
January 6, 1975 - December 5, 2013
On Thursday Dec. 5th, Jessica passed away peacefully in the arms of her loving husband at Lions Gate Hospital. Predeceased by her mother Dyan Crawshaw. She will be deeply missed by her husband Sean, son Johnny, brother Dylan Crawshaw, father and step-mother Pat and Nancy Crawshaw, father and mother in-law John and Susan Barton, and many others whose lives she touched.
In the four and a half years since she was diagnosed, Jessica
continued living the life she loved, creating a positive environment at home and in her community. Even when things got difficult, Jessica’s energy and strength were unwavering. Jessica was a mother in the truest sense, tirelessly creating a foundation of love and support, and a home in which Johnny can continue to thrive.
A very special thanks to Dr. Sasha Smiljanic and the staff of the Chemotherapy Department who supported Jessica throughout her entire treatment. In addition, the family wishes to sincerely thank Dr. Paul Sugar and the staff of the Palliative Care Unit for helping Jessica throughout her last two weeks.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jessica’s memory to the Dr. Paul Sugar Palliative Support Foundation.
A gathering will be held to celebrate her life on January 5th, 2014.
A detailed announcement will be made in early January or visit
