In memory of Leonard Falk
FALK, Leonard James
1936 - 2014
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Len surrounded by family.
He was predeceased by his parents David and Peggy, and brothers Bill and Conrad.
Len is survived and will be missed by his loving partner Carole Lee; brother Alan (Sheila), children Lynn, Lisa (Gerry), Ron (Debby), Quinn, their mother Lorraine; grandchildren Misty, Michael (Lisa), Melissa (Leon), Colleen, Clayton, great-grandchildren Matthew, Olivia, Ali, Marissa, In-laws Rod and Karen and their daughter Michelle, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Len was born in Princeton, lived in Burnaby during his working life and resided in North Vancouver for many years. Len spent over 40 years on the waterfront working for National Harbours Board, Port of Vancouver and Canadian Stevedoring. He was an active outdoorsman and kept busy in retirement by volunteering and travelling.
The family would like to thank Dr. Paul Sugar and the nurses and staff at the North Shore Hospice and Lions Gate Hospital who helped us through Len's journey.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 18th at 10:00 am at First Memorial Funeral (Boal Chapel), 1505 Lillooet Road, North Vancouver.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Vancouver Foundation for the Paul Sugar Palliative Support Foundation would be appreciated.
