In memory of Linda Caroline Paterson
PATERSON, Linda Caroline
May 11, 1943 - October 22, 2017
At the age of 74, Linda passed away peacefully at Lions Gate Hospital after a lengthy illness surrounded by her 3 children.
Linda handled her health issues with courage, strength and her incredible sense of humour. Linda was a devoted and loving partner, mother, grandmother and a loyal friend to so many people.
She is survived by her son Toby (Nicole), daughters Rebecca, Kate, granddaughter Jacqueline and extended family in England , Spain and Brazil. She is predeceased by her partner Terry Duncome and sister Gill Millner.
Linda was born in Devon, England and emigrated to Canada in 1971. She was an accomplished florist, jewelry designer and an avid knitter. She had an adventurous spirit with a love for travel and appreciation of culture. This started when she took her first job as an airline stewardess working for British United Airways. There was not a room she would not light up with her laughter and search for a fun time.
Linda will be greatly missed and her memory will continue with the lives she touched and her creativity from the unique jewelry she created.
Her children would like to thank the incredible and devoted care of Dr. Paul Sugar.
There will be a celebration of her life next spring as her wishes were lots of warm sun and blooming flowers.
Donations may be warmly accepted at the Paul Sugar Palliative Support Foundation.
