In memory of Ryan Catt
Ryan Douglas Catt
Aug. 26, 1992 - Sept. 28, 2015
It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. Ryan grew up in Pemberton Heights, North Vancouver, and graduated from Carson Graham High School.
Prior to his cancer diagnosis, Ryan was completing his electrical apprenticeship with BC Hydro.
Ryan had a gentle and compassionate nature which was recognized and appreciated by everyone. He was known for his quick and beautiful smile. He and his family shared many activities associated with their love for each other and the outdoors – Ryan loved nature, hiking, fishing, camping, gardening and skiing. He also enjoyed cooking and preparing meals for his family.
Ryan quietly battled this illness with amazing strength and dignity. We express our sincere gratitude to the compassionate doctors, nurses and medical staff at Lion’s Gate Hospital, who worked so hard to care for Ryan.
Ryan is survived by his parents Wendy and Gordon Catt, his brothers Max and Curtis, grandparents Stan and Sylvia Haroldson and Mariette Catt, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Predeceased by his uncle Bruce Haroldson and grandfather Ozmer Catt.
In memory of Ryan, the family requests that you plant a tree. Memorial donations may be made to the Lion’s Gate Hospital Foundation, the Paul Sugar Palliative Support Foundation or the charity of your choice.
We love you Ryan. You will never be forgotten.
Celebration of Life to be held Fri. Oct. 9 from 11:00-1:00 at Pinnacle Hotel, North Vancouver
