In memory of Ron Sanvido

SANVIDO, Romano (Ron) Joseph 

Ron passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at the age of 84. Born at Vancouver General Hospital, a child of Emilio and Angela Sanvido. Ron will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 59 years, Theresa (Terry), son Geoffrey (Patricia), daughters Laurie (Mark) and Karen (Andy) and much beloved granddaughters Rachel and Sasha. Ron is survived by sisters Jean, Elda (Peter) and Norina, sister-in-law Maria, brother-in-law Nick and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Roma and Anita and brothers Erminio and Albert.

​Ron lived a life of a thoughtful and caring person, always prepared to assist those in need. The family would like to offer special thanks to Dr. Paul Sugar, North Shore Community Care nurses Pat and Trish and the caring staff at Northshore Hospice.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 12th, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Columbia-Bowell Funeral Chapel, 219 6th Street, New Westminster. Interment to follow at Ocean View Cemetery, 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby.

In Lieu of flowers, donations in Ron’s name may be made to the Paul Sugar Palliative Support Foundation in appreciation and thanks for their compassion and care.
